Books
A list of books and educational material about trans issues, for both children and adults.
I am Jazz
From the time she was two years old, Jazz knew she was a girl even though everyone thought she was a boy. She loved pink and dressing up like a mermaid and didn't feel like herself when she wore clothes that the other boys wore. This was confusing for her family, until they took her to a doctor who diagnosed Jazz as trans and explained that she was born this way. Trans children come in all kinds, just like other children. They have different tastes in clothes and different interests. But this is Jazz's story based on her own experience. She tells it in a simple and clear way that appeals to children, parents, and teachers.
