International Transgender Day of Visibility

Today, Monday, March 31st, 2025, is the International Transgender Day of Visibility. To mark the occasion, we asked several individuals within Icelandic society to show their support for a cause that is so incredibly dear to our hearts. We know that the vast majority of Icelanders stand by us, but unfortunately, that majority often remains silent on this issue, choosing not to engage in the public debate.

We at Trans Allies want to encourage you to speak up for this vital cause and demonstrate that you are the true Icelandic backbone for trans people in the fight against prejudice. Now, more than ever, your voice is needed! Help us share these precious photos of trans friends as widely as possible.
